This is to notify our respectful reading public that the Editorial Board of the journal Medijska istraživanja / Media Research has retracted the following article from publication:„Multimedia Learning and Evaluating Mathematical Billboard on the Example of GeoGebra“ published in Media Research, vol 21, no 2, 2016 pp. 125-153.
We are hereby retracting the article due to the unethical behavior of the authors within the scientific community, having to do with sending the same article to several journals and copyright infringment.
It has been noted that this article was accepted and published in two journals:
Media Research, vol 21, no 2, february 2016, pp. 125-153, UDK 37.091.33-028.2
Medijski dijalozi ,No 23, vol 9, february 2016., pp. 439-464, UDK 51:004.451.9 https://medijskidijalozi.files.wordpress.com/2016/02/md-23.pdf
It was also sent to a third journal, Napredak – časopis za pedagogijsku teoriju i praksu ISSN 1330-0059, publisher Croatian Literary – Educational Association, editor-in-chief prof.dr.sc. Dubravka Miljković.
Being in contact with editor-in-chief of the journal Medijski dijalozi from Montenegro dr.sc. Mimo Drašković, as well as prof.dr.sc. Dubravka Miljković, editor-in-chief of the journal Napredak we realized that the paper had been sent to all three journals in different time periods and that it had not been retracted by the authors after it had been accepted to be published the first time, and in all three cases the paper went throught peer review. Regretfully we found that only the third peer review detected copyright infringment in certain parts of the article, an occurance for which we apologize to the readers of Media Research.
Even though we did not have the possibility to prevent the double publishing of the paper in question, the Editorial Board of Media Research hereby apologizes to its readers, authors and associates. We wish to notify you that we have undertaken all necessary measures to retract the published article according to ethical standars of the scientific community, and that all further collaboration with the authors of the article is terminated.
